The origin of Wixias recent crypto assets has been made clear as they face a class-action lawsuit for crypto mining their client’s computers via their screensaver.
As The Gateway Report revealed earlier this week, Wixia has been it appears that the source of the crypto comes from a grand crypto mining infrastructure, through screensavers. In that article, we mentioned that there was speculation about “crypto-friendly” monitors in the future, but as it turns they had even grander plans.
The default, pre-installed screensaver found on many Wixia monitors throughout the nation disguises as a crypto network, giving clarity to Wixias tight lipped statements about where the crypto assets come from. This has caused an uproar, as several clients now have sued Wixia for taking advantage of them.
