Wall Street Broker Fired for Dropping Rhymes Instead of Dimes

A stockbroker at Jordan Investments recently got the boot—not for bad trades, but for mixing beats instead of spreadsheets during work hours.

His side hustle came to light when a nearby Swapmeet Trading employee, presumably expecting the usual investment charts, stumbled upon the broker’s laptop left wide open during a quick bathroom break.

Turns out, rather than closing a deal, the broker was fine-tuning a “certified banger,” allegedly with lyrics from rapper Yung Gold-Chain himself. Gold-Chain, who recently dropped his short-lived “Yung Gold-Shark” phase after failing to partner with Gold & Shark, had this to say about the collaboration: “Once a Chain, always a Chain.” He refused to elaborate on the lyrics, responding only with, “I ain’t telling nothing.”

The broker, swiftly fired from Jordan Investments, is now on the hunt for a new job — ideally one that won’t mind his passion for lunchtime mixtapes.
