This just in: Masked criminals have infiltrated the Supreme Judicial Court of New York in what appears to be an attempt to break out suspect-on-trial Mr. Franklin Steele. The Gateway Report had previously been granted exclusive access to cover the trial, doing a special recorded feature for The Gateway Live.
Inside reports from our journalists indicate that it’s currently mayhem, with the masked gang drilling open doors and taking hostages. A helicopter has also been seen hoisting someone up through a glass ceiling.
Another Gateway journalist, currently hiding somewhere inside the building, has reported seeing smoke coming from the evidence room.
Steele is currently accused of several crimes, including grand larceny and tax evasion. Whether this breakout is connected to those crimes is yet to be revealed, but it seems unlikely to be a coincidence.
